A champion for resilience, Safia Verjee, Executive Director of the International Centre of Humanitarian Affairs (ICHA) at the Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS), has dedicated over 15 years to empowering communities. Her unwavering spirit and expertise guide ICHA’s mission, forging partnerships and igniting innovation to fortify communities against adversity.
With a keen eye for strategic direction, Safia spearheads initiatives that not only respond to crises, but transform lives. Her voice resonates throughout the humanitarian landscape, advocating for impactful change in interventions, ensuring they reach those who need them most. Fueled by a Master’s degree in Public Health from Cardiff University and a honed leadership acumen from Lancaster University, Safia’s commitment to building a more resilient world burns brightly.
