Agnes Enid Koome

Head of Capacity Development and Training at ICHA

Agnes holds a Master's degree in International Executive Management, Bachelor’s degree in Education, Diploma in Marketing Management and International Certificate in Practicing Management. She has worked for Kenya Red Cross in programmes namely First Aid, Disease Prevention and Control, Disaster Preparedness and Training.

Her role at the Centre is to create linkages with both internal and external partners and stakeholders in the development and actualization of training and Capacity development initiatives.

She has undertaken various courses including (Trainer of Trainers) in Pre Hospital Care, Health Emergencies, Disaster Management, Public Health Emergencies M&E, and Reproductive Health and has supported in the development, facilitation and coordination of various Emergency and Disaster Management courses for the Society, ICRC, National Societies and NGOs among others.

Agnes served in the Professional Trainers Association’s Board for over 5 years. She was a coordinator and mentor during the KRCS/IFRC/Norwegian RC Integrated Field School held in Kenya and continues to be a Mentor for the Unitid Fellowship Programme - University of Nairobi.
